REVIEW GUIDELINES · OCTOBER 11, 2026

Experience sharing needs
clear limits.

Community reviews describe individual experiences. Secure sign-in and explicit consent are required to submit; every review remains private and pending until owner moderation. Reviews are not medical intake or an emergency response service.

Firsthand experiences only

Share your genuine firsthand experience with the listed organization. Do not copy another person’s story or fabricate an experience. Sign-in does not verify treatment attendance, clinical effectiveness or outcomes. Choose a public pseudonym separately from your private account.

The same standard for positive and negative views

The owner reviews submissions using neutral reason codes: spam, fake experience, harassment, privacy, unrelated content, insufficient detail, commercial promotion or policy violations. Positive and negative reviews use the same rules. A negative rating is not a reason to suppress a review. Narratives and sentiment are not rewritten, and payment does not determine approval or ratings.

Pending and rejected content is not public. An approved review can be reconsidered for a guideline violation with an audited status change. There is no automatic approval, continuous monitoring or guaranteed decision timeline.

Disclose material connections

Disclose staff/professional, personal/family or other connections and benefits that could affect how readers interpret your review. The disclosure appears with an approved review. Disclosure does not make fabricated, promotional or paid favorable feedback an authentic consumer experience.

Privacy before detail

Do not include diagnoses, medications, treatment records, exact treatment dates, insurance identifiers, contact details or information identifying other people. Use bounded plain text, not files or medical documents. Do not submit admissions requests, clinical questions or urgent messages.

This website is not monitored for emergencies. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support; for immediate danger or a medical emergency, call 911.

Private identity and public consent

The account used to submit is private. The public API shows only approved experience feedback: rating, title, narrative, chosen pseudonym and disclosed material connection. It does not reveal account email or private user identifiers. You must acknowledge a genuine experience and consent to the approved content becoming public before submission.

Account records, pending/rejected reviews and moderation/report audits remain in the website database with no automatic expiry or self-service deletion in this version. See the information-use page for retention and hosting limits.

Reports go to the owner

Signed-in users can report an approved review using a reason code: spam, fake experience, harassment, privacy or unrelated content. Reports contain no additional narrative, health history or contact fields. The owner can uphold or dismiss a report with an audit entry. A report does not automatically remove a review and is not an emergency or clinical-support channel.

Experience ratings are not editorial assessments

An empty organization displays “No rating yet,” not zero stars. The displayed experience average is the arithmetic mean of approved community ratings only; pending/rejected ratings and source-based RecoveryReview editorial assessments never enter it. Ratings do not measure clinical effectiveness.

Our editorial assessments are written by this site from official public sources, with dates and source links. They are not independent patient reviews, clinical evaluations or evidence of a facility visit. Editorial drafts are private until the owner publishes them. Provider responses are not offered; they require a separate identity and permission workflow.

What these guidelines do not claim

These guidelines are not a HIPAA guarantee, legal/regulatory certification or guarantee of perfect privacy. They do not replace direct confirmation with a provider, clinician, insurer or emergency service. There is no admissions referral, marketing enrollment or payment-for-placement system in this version.
